The CEO of the International College of Hotel (ICHM), Prof. Gerald Lipman, recently visited the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM) and was welcomed by the Vice Rector of City U and the Dean of FITM, Prof. Aliana Leong. The two parties carried deep exploration of extensive cooperation on students’ overseas studies, teacher exchanges, teaching and research development and advice services, among many other educational services. Prof. Gerald Lipman was highly impressed by the achievements of FITM in the past two years and expressed his warm congratulations. Prof. Lipman also promised to encourage more mutually advantageous projects between ICHM and FITM through the signing of a cooperation agreement. Both parties are looking forward to see great advancement in international cooperation in 2014. Established in 1882, the Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) has set the standard for hospitality management education around the world. In 1992, in active cooperation with the South Australian Government, SHA made important contributions to the foundation of ICHM. Today, ICHM is the only school of SHA outside Europe and also the only one issuing Bachelor degree recognized by the SHA. |
