With the experience of dealing with Typhoon Hato last year, CityU knew beforehand that there would be standing water and garbage around the community in Rua da Praia do Manduco. Therefore, the Student Affairs Office started to recruit volunteers last night to help clean the streets around the community today.

The campus reporter interviewed the volunteers. The students said that they experienced Typhoon Hato last year, so they hoped that their volunteering activities would actually serve the community. Besides, their families also encouraged them to do so. Although it was a hard work, reporters were really moved by the enthusiasm of students and teachers, warmed by the love from all walks of society, and felt CityU members' devotion to the greater good.
